Why this work
A role is only the beginning.
Getting the role is one thing. Knowing what to do next takes practice.
About Next of Us
Built by students.
For what comes next.
Next of Us makes guides and resources for students and young professionals figuring out how to get involved, lead a group and work with others.
Our mission
We redesign the student leadership experience to help aspiring and current leaders realize their potential, strengthen their communities, and prepare for professional and civic/public service life.
Our vision
Students from every background have the support to lead responsibly, contribute to their communities, and carry that experience into their professional and civic lives.
Our perspective
Culture.
Community.
Lived experience.
Built by students, for students, our approach draws on underrepresented and urban student experiences. We bring culture, community, and lived experience into leadership development, welcoming students of every background.
Our guides help you work out what a role involves, make decisions with your group and follow through at school, on campus or in your community.
